About Eichan

An operator’s view of business, systems, and AI.

I work at the point where a business question must become a practical decision, workflow, or result.

Business and technology are the same conversation when the outcome matters.

I began in the internet service industry and later built and operated an IT business in Japan. My work has covered client conversations, problem discovery, service planning, requirements, system design, development, deployment, sales, operations, and support.

That range matters because many projects do not fail at the coding stage. They fail because the real problem was never defined, the process did not fit the people using it, or the cost of operating the solution was ignored.

From an unclear request to something useful.

I am most useful when the starting point is: “We know what we want to achieve, but we do not yet know what should be built or done.” I can work from a non-technical business conversation through to detailed coordination with engineers, vendors, and service providers.

Past work includes reservation and order automation, hospitality operations, e-commerce review systems, auction services, telephone consultation platforms, automotive operations, mentoring marketplaces, and agency management systems.

AI is leverage, not the objective.

Today I actively explore Python, APIs, databases, LLMs, and AI agents. The principle has not changed: technology is useful only when it improves a real decision or workflow. AI can accelerate research, drafting, analysis, and development; experience is still needed to choose the right problem, test assumptions, and recognize where a human must take responsibility.

What clients can expect.

  • Direct communication without unnecessary ceremony
  • A bias toward the smallest useful next step
  • Clear limits, assumptions, and evidence
  • Business, operational, and technical tradeoffs considered together
